Smiles for FREEdom was created by Kandice Simpkins RDH, 
proudly supported by her home dental office co-owners Todd Sala DMD and Jason Sala DMD at Sala Family Dentistry in Reno, Nevada, in making this opportunity to serve a reality. Giving back to the community is an important aspect of the culture at Sala Family Dentistry. After coordinating seven years of free dental days providing important care for the community Kandice wanted to create a day of free dentistry solely for the veterans and service members of the community that have provided so much to us. Smiles for FREEdom was created and the first event held at Sala Family Dentistry on May 8, 2015.

Since then over 1000+ veterans and active duty service men and women have been provided with a variety of free dental care services amounting to over $2,000,000 in free dental care! This is an amazing opportunity to get involved and give back to the community! We look forward to many more happier and healthier smiles to come. A very special thank you to all those who have served our country and communities is a variety of aspects! We appreciate you!
